The Xerosicyos Danguyi, commonly called 'Silver Dollar Plant' or 'Silver Dollar Vine' is a very rare and sought after succulent with green round leaves growing on woody stems. As the plant matures you can expect it to reach up to around 50cm.
10cm nursery pot
Great collectors’ plant
This is a very hardy plant that only needs to be watered occasionally in the cooler months.
How to care for your Silver Dollar Vine (Xerosicyos Danguyi):
Indoors, in a bright spot – They love light!
Free-draining succulent soil with a good amount of perlite or sand
It’s important to keep the soil dry between waterings
They are very drought tolerant
If you overwater it will rot
You can tell if you are underwater as the leaves will shrivel once the plant is established.
Keep in mind that if you purchase a branch cutting from the main stem, it will callous over and won’t regrow from that point. It will shoot a new stem off to the side of the callous.
Our plants are shipped in their nursery pots as you see in the photos. The photos here are the plant you are purchasing. Please take care when choosing your plants as some are poisonous to people and animals. Decorative pots and plants are all sold separately.
