Monstera Dubia - Starter Packs
The Monstera Dubia Starter Pack is perfect for plant enthusiasts who want to grow their own Monstera Dubia plants from scratch. Each pack includes 2-3 small, rooted Monstera Dubia propagations that are currently growing roots in Sphagnum moss. You may wish to transfer to a larger tub to grow on before transferring them to your medium of choice.
With these starter packs, you have the freedom to transfer the propagations into your preferred growing medium, whether it's soil, perlite, or any other medium you choose. Additionally, the Monstera Dubia Starter Pack is an excellent option if you’d like to grow your plants onto different materials, such as moss poles or trellises, creating a customised and unique look.
Monstera Dubia plants are easy to care for and thrive in bright, indirect sunlight and moderate to high humidity. With proper care, the propagations in this starter pack will grow into lush, tropical plants that will add a touch of paradise to any space.
Please note that these Monstera Dubia Starter Packs contain small, rooted propagations that are currently growing roots in Sphagnum moss, and as such, are not yet established plants.
Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Monsteras thrive in filtered light, but variegated varieties require brighter indirect light conditions to maintain their variegation. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves, especially the lighter variegated areas.
Water: Allow the top few cm of medium to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly, ensuring the pot drains well. Overwatering can lead to root rot.
Temperature: Maintain temperatures between 18–26°C. Protect the plant from cold drafts and extreme heat, as both can stress the plant and affect its growth.
Humidity: Thrives in humidity levels above 60%. Higher humidity is especially beneficial for variegated Monsteras to encourage lush, vibrant growth and larger leaves.
Medium: Use a chunky aroid mix with excellent drainage. Incorporate materials like orchid bark, perlite, and peat moss. See our Ultimate Premium Aroid Mix Recipe for detailed instructions.
Fertiliser: Feed regularly during spring and summer with Growth Technology Foliage Focus. Reduce feeding frequency during the cooler months.

Live plants are shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays. Orders placed after 5pm Saturday will be sent the following week.
We ship to most of Australia via Australia Post Express.
We do not ship live plants to WA or NT due to quarantine laws. Orders from these states will be cancelled and refunded.
Please ensure your address is correct at checkout. Chalet Boutique is not responsible for shipping delays, lost parcels, or damage once your order has been dispatched.
