FAQ's

Live plants are shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays. Orders placed after 5pm Saturday will be sent the following week.

We ship to most of Australia via Australia Post Express.

We do not ship live plants to WA or NT due to quarantine laws. Orders from these states will be cancelled and refunded.

Please ensure your address is correct at checkout. Chalet Boutique is not responsible for shipping delays, lost parcels, or damage once your order has been dispatched.

We do not offer refunds for change of mind, shipping damage, or if incorrect details were provided at checkout.

If your plant arrives in poor condition, please contact us within 2 days with clear photos so we can assess your claim.

Once plants leave our care, Chalet Boutique is not responsible for how they are handled in transit.

Rhaphidophora Tetrasperma Mint Variegated Care Guide:

Light: Bright, indirect light. Avoid direct sunlight to prevent leaf burn, but ensure enough light to maintain variegation. Supplemental LED grow lights are recommended.

Water: Water when the top 3cm of soil feels dry, water thoroughly. Do not let the plant sit in water, as it can cause root rot. Maintain consistency to avoid leaf browning.

Temperature: Ideal temperatures are 25°C and above. Keep away from drafts, air conditioning, and heating vents to avoid stress from temperature fluctuations.

Humidity: Requires high humidity, ideally above 70%. Use a grow tent, cabinet, or greenhouse setup if possible.

Medium: Use a well-draining aroid mix to support root health and prevent excess moisture retention.

Fertiliser: Feed with a balanced liquid fertiliser like the Growth Technology Foliage Focus during growing months, but avoid over-fertilising to protect delicate variegation.

Unless stated, plants are shipped in their nursery pots, as shown in the photos.

Minor blemishes or imperfections on foliage are normal and do not affect plant health. Each plant is unique, so size, colour, and shape may vary slightly.

Please choose carefully — some plants may be toxic to people or pets if ingested.
