FAQ's

Live plants are shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays. Orders placed after 5pm Saturday will be sent the following week.

We ship to most of Australia via Australia Post Express.

We do not ship live plants to WA or NT due to quarantine laws. Orders from these states will be cancelled and refunded.

Please ensure your address is correct at checkout. Chalet Boutique is not responsible for shipping delays, lost parcels, or damage once your order has been dispatched.

We do not offer refunds for change of mind, shipping damage, or if incorrect details were provided at checkout.

If your plant arrives in poor condition, please contact us within 2 days with clear photos so we can assess your claim.

Once plants leave our care, Chalet Boutique is not responsible for how they are handled in transit.

Light: Bright, indirect light. Keep out of direct light.

Water: Keep the medium slightly moist but not wet as they don’t like being soggy. Wait until the top few centimeters of soil is dry, then water thoroughly. Don’t let your plant sit in water, or they will rot.

Temperature: 18deg and above. Keep them away from cold drafts, air conditioning, and heating vents as they’re cold-sensitive.

Humidity: Over 60%

Medium: Aroid Mix

Fertiliser: Feed with a liquid fertiliser in the growing months.

Note: They have a dormant period in winter. Keep plants a little drier when they are dormant, but ensure the soil or potting mix does not dry completely as this will cause the rhizomes to dry and die off completely.

Unless stated, plants are shipped in their nursery pots, as shown in the photos.

Minor blemishes or imperfections on foliage are normal and do not affect plant health. Each plant is unique, so size, colour, and shape may vary slightly.

Please choose carefully — some plants may be toxic to people or pets if ingested.
