FAQ's

Live plants are shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays. Orders placed after 5pm Saturday will be sent the following week.

We ship to most of Australia via Australia Post Express.

We do not ship live plants to WA or NT due to quarantine laws. Orders from these states will be cancelled and refunded.

Please ensure your address is correct at checkout. Chalet Boutique is not responsible for shipping delays, lost parcels, or damage once your order has been dispatched.

We do not offer refunds for change of mind, shipping damage, or if incorrect details were provided at checkout.

If your plant arrives in poor condition, please contact us within 2 days with clear photos so we can assess your claim.

Light: Bright, indirect light is ideal. Rhaphidophora neglecta plants thrive in filtered light. Avoid prolonged direct sunlight, as it can scorch the leaves, especially the lighter variegated areas.

Water: Allow the top few cm of medium to dry out between waterings. Water thoroughly, ensuring the pot drains well. Overwatering can lead to root rot.

Temperature: Maintain temperatures between 18–26°C. Protect the plant from cold drafts and extreme heat, as both can stress the plant and affect its growth.

Humidity: Thrives in humidity levels above 60%. Higher humidity is especially beneficial for Rhaphidophora neglecta plants to encourage lush, vibrant growth and larger leaves.

Medium: Use a chunky aroid mix with excellent drainage. Incorporate materials like orchid bark, perlite, and peat moss.

Fertiliser: Feed regularly during spring and summer with Growth Technology Foliage Focus. Reduce feeding frequency during the cooler months.

Unless stated, plants are shipped in their nursery pots, as shown in the photos.

Minor blemishes or imperfections on foliage are normal and do not affect plant health. Each plant is unique, so size, colour, and shape may vary slightly.

Please choose carefully — some plants may be toxic to people or pets if ingested.
