Description

Philodendron domesticum variegated (Well Rooted) has long narrow leaves with bright cream and mint marbling across the surface. This plant is well rooted in perlite based semi hydro and already growing strongly. The variegation pattern is clean and the stem shows good colour, making it a reliable established piece for collectors who want a stable domesticum form that is easy to grow on.

Shipping Note
Plants grown in perlite are shipped in their inner containers. The reservoir is emptied before packing to keep the plant secure. Please refill the outer cup with fresh water and your CCS or Foliage Focus mix once it arrives.

Shipping

Live plants are shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays. Orders placed after 5pm Sunday will be sent the following week.

We ship to most of Australia via Australia Post Express.

We do not ship live plants to WA or NT due to quarantine laws. Orders from these states will be cancelled and refunded.

Please ensure your address is correct at checkout. Chalet Boutique is not responsible for shipping delays, lost parcels, or damage once your order has been dispatched.

Returns

We do not offer refunds for change of mind, shipping damage, or if incorrect details were provided at checkout.

If your plant arrives in poor condition, please contact us within 2 days with clear photos so we can assess your claim.

Once plants leave our care, Chalet Boutique is not responsible for how they are handled in transit.

Care Guide

Light
Bright indirect or filtered light keeps the variegation crisp. Keep out of direct hot sun.

Water
Place the inner pot into a reservoir cup. Fill the reservoir with fresh water mixed with CCS or mild Foliage Focus. Keep the water just below the base of the inner pot so the perlite wicks moisture without soaking the stem.

Temperature
Warm indoor temperatures support stable growth. Avoid cold drafts.

Humidity
Moderate to higher humidity helps maintain leaf quality and colour.

Medium
Perlite in semi hydro. Refresh the reservoir weekly and flush the perlite every couple of weeks to prevent mineral build up.

Fertiliser
Use CCS or Foliage Focus at normal strength during active growth.

Unless stated, plants are shipped in their nursery pots, as shown in the photos.

Minor blemishes or imperfections on foliage are normal and do not affect plant health. Each plant is unique, so size, colour, and shape may vary slightly.

Please choose carefully — some plants may be toxic to people or pets if ingested.
