Description

Nepenthes Ventricosa x NOID is a striking carnivorous plant known for its compact growth and colourful pitchers. This tropical pitcher plant shows strong traits of Nepenthes ventricosa, with bulbous, waist-pinched pitchers in shades of pink to deep red. Its flared peristome and waxy texture give each pitcher a sculptural look. Pitchers typically form close to the base before the plant begins to climb, making it a great choice for both terrariums and hanging baskets. A hardy and rewarding Nepenthes for any carnivorous plant collection.

Care Guide

Light
Prefers bright, indirect light. Can tolerate some morning sun but avoid harsh direct sunlight, which may scorch the pitchers and foliage.

Water
Keep the soil consistently damp but not waterlogged. Use rainwater, distilled, or reverse osmosis water, as tap water can damage roots and pitchers.

Temperature
Maintain temperatures between 18–28°C. Protect from cold drafts and avoid sudden drops in temperature.

Humidity
Thrives in high humidity levels above 60%. While it can adapt to lower levels, consistent humidity encourages better pitcher development.

Medium
Use a free-draining carnivorous plant mix, such as a mix of perlite and coco coir. Avoid standard potting soil or mixes with fertiliser.

Fertiliser
Feed with Growth Technology CCS at half strength every 2–3 weeks during active growth. Avoid getting fertiliser into the pitchers. Do not overfeed.

Please Note

Unless stated, plants are shipped in their nursery pots, as shown in the photos.

Minor blemishes or imperfections on foliage are normal and do not affect plant health. Each plant is unique, so size, colour, and shape may vary slightly.

Please choose carefully — some plants may be toxic to people or pets if ingested.

Decorative pots and plants are sold separately.
