Cymbidium Orchid (Pepper Rose Yellow Throat) x (Memoria Gracie Allen x Shocking) 'Cheers' is a complex cymbidium hybrid selected for strong upright spikes and generous seasonal flowering. Cymbidiums are known for producing multiple flower spikes from mature pseudobulbs, each carrying numerous long lasting blooms with excellent substance. This cross combines proven breeding lines, with expected clean form and contrasting throat detail influenced by its parentage. Plants produce strap like foliage and firm pseudobulbs that store energy for reliable repeat flowering. Best suited to bright light and cooler nights to initiate spikes. A showy orchid suited to collectors who appreciate large floral displays and impressive vase life.

Plants are not currently in flower. The first bloom image shown is of Memoria Gracie Allen x Shocking, one of the parent lines in this cross. I am still sourcing an image of Pepper Rose Yellow Throat to add for reference. Flowering from this cross will combine traits from both parent lines once mature.

Shipping

Live plants are shipped on Mondays and Tuesdays. Orders placed after 5pm Sunday will be sent the following week.

We ship to most of Australia via Australia Post Express.

We do not ship live plants to WA or NT due to quarantine laws. Orders from these states will be cancelled and refunded.

Please ensure your address is correct at checkout. Chalet Boutique is not responsible for shipping delays, lost parcels, or damage once your order has been dispatched.

Returns

We do not offer refunds for change of mind, shipping damage, or if incorrect details were provided at checkout.

If your plant arrives in poor condition, please contact us within 2 days with clear photos so we can assess your claim.

Care Guide

Cymbidium Care

Light: Bright, filtered light. Morning sun or dappled light is ideal. Protect from harsh afternoon sun.

Water: Keep evenly moist through active growth, letting the top layer of mix dry slightly between waterings. Reduce watering in winter but don’t allow the mix to dry out completely.

Temperature: Cool to intermediate conditions suit best, with cooler nights encouraging flower spikes.

Fertiliser: Feed regularly during growth with a balanced orchid fertiliser such as Growth Technology Orchid Focus.

Position: Use a free-draining orchid mix and provide good air movement around the leaves.

Unless stated, plants are shipped in their nursery pots, as shown in the photos.

Minor blemishes or imperfections on foliage are normal and do not affect plant health. Each plant is unique, so size, colour, and shape may vary slightly.
