Description

Sansevieria trifasciata forms upright sword-shaped leaves marked with deep green bands and lighter horizontal striping. The leaves have a firm, almost architectural feel, creating a sculptural presence that suits modern interiors. It’s a slow grower but long-lived, holding its form beautifully in bright or low light. Each rosette gradually multiplies, forming tidy clusters that can fill a pot over time.

Care Guide

Care for Sansevieria trifasciata

Light
Handles a wide range from bright indirect to low light. Growth is strongest in medium to bright light indoors.

Water
Let the mix dry completely before watering again. It’s drought tolerant and far prefers neglect over soggy soil.

Humidity
Normal household humidity is perfect. No special misting or humidity control needed.

Temperature
Best in 18–28°C. Protect from frost and cold drafts.

Soil
Use a gritty, free-draining mix such as cactus or succulent blend. Avoid dense soil that holds water.

Fertiliser
Feed lightly during the warmer months using a balanced liquid fertiliser every 4–6 weeks. No feeding needed in winter.

Please Note

Unless stated, plants are shipped in their nursery pots, as shown in the photos.

Minor blemishes or imperfections on foliage are normal and do not affect plant health. Each plant is unique, so size, colour, and shape may vary slightly.

Please choose carefully — some plants may be toxic to people or pets if ingested.

Decorative pots and plants are sold separately.
