The Crocodile Fern is an attractive and tough fern with strap-like leaves that have a pattern and texture that resembles the appearance of crocodile skin. They are also known as the Microsorum Crocodyllus or Crocydyllus Fern. These are hardy, with lovely glossy leaves and they make a great statement piece.

How to care for a Crocodile Fern:
Crocodile ferns need regular watering, but the plant does not like soggy.
Water when the surface of the potting mix feels slightly dry.
A rich, well-drained potting soil such as soil formulated for African violets works very well.
Crocodile fern plants perform best in indirect or low light.
Direct sunlight will burn their leaves.
Cool to average room temperatures are fine but avoid heating vents, drafts or air conditioners.

Please note
Our plants are shipped in their nursery pots as you see in the photos unless stated. Sometimes plants may have blemishes on the foliage. Blemishes won't affect the overall health or future growth of the plant; this is just the nature of plants sometimes. Plants ordered may differ slightly as not every plant is the same and the plant you receive may vary slightly in size, colour, and shape. Please take care when choosing your plants as some are poisonous to people and animals. Decorative pots and plants are all sold separately.
